Overview

Chapel Hill Elementary School was opened in 1967 and is located in south DeKalb County.   Chapel Hill Elementary School currently serves students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade with one Pre-Kindergarten class.  In addition to the core content subject areas, Chapel Hill Elementary offers physical education, health, art, and music courses for all students.

 

Chapel Hill Elementary provides a safe and healthy learning environment, implements effective instructional methods and programs to enhance the Common Core Curriculum and equips students with the necessary skills to enable them to become productive citizens by fostering, critical thinking, logical reasoning and decision-making skills.

Teachers continue to endeavor towards academic excellence for all students. This quest towards excellence is being achieved by meeting the needs of all students through careful preparation and teamwork. We wish to construct and sustain an environment where students can become conscientious decision-makers and life-long learners.
