Chapel Hill Elementary School was opened in 1967 and is located in south DeKalb County.   Chapel Hill Elementary School currently serves students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade with one Pre-Kindergarten class.  In addition to the core content subject areas, Chapel Hill Elementary offers physical education, health, art, music, technology, and STEM Lab courses for all students.

Chapel Hill Elementary is an AdvancEd STEM Certified school. AdvancED STEM Certification is a mark of distinction and excellence that provides schools and programs a research-based framework and criteria for awareness, continuous improvement and assessment of quality, rigor, and substance of their STEM educational program.

Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) is the way Chapel Hill Elementary encourages good behavior.  With PBIS, kids learn about behavior, just as they learn other subjects like math or science.  The key to PBIS is prevention and a focus on positive behavior.
